Thirty-year-old engineer Ilayaraja Arunachalam was found dead in his dormitory at the Infosys dormitory at his office at the Mahindra World City premises, close to Chennai.
Arunachalam was found dead more than 24 hours after he checked into the dormitory. The dormitory is where Infosys employees go to take rest.
According to Kancheepuram SP Santosh Hadimani, Arunachalam’s body was found at 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say that they were told Arunachalam entered the dormitory at 8:15 p.m. on Monday night. There are no injury marks on his body.
An Infosys official said that Arunchalam was naked when he was found.
Arunachalam is from Tindivanam in Villupurum district. His body has been moved to the Chengalpattu Hospital. Police are treating this case as a suspicious death and the investigation is going on.

“We are saddened by the loss of our employee in Chennai. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with the family of the deceased. Infosys will provide all the necessary support to the family in their hour of grief,” said a statement from Infosys.
The police are gathering details of all the employees who stayed in the dormitory on Monday night.
