There is a movie now showing in the theaters across the world. It is entitled “The King’s Speech. The movie critics even rate it with four stars, which is seldom because of they, the critics, like the superficial, no meaning, no Inhalt movies better. This movie has also received the node for many “Oscars.
Some may think the movie is the story of the life in a part of King George VI of Great Britain, who was the father of Queen Elizabeth II. This is partly correct, but the movie tells the story of a man who was raised by a despotic unloving controlling father (King George V). Our man in this story has suffered mental shortcomings from his childhood. The most prominent being his stutter.
I see this as a total lack of self-confidence. He struggled with this problem most of his life and only with the help of another did he gain a semblance of self-confidence which had been taken from him as a child.
Not everyone shows this character trait of a stutterer, but because they lack self-confidence, they remain in the flock and never become a leader. NAPOLEON HILL discovered this character trait as a young man who was lucky and gifted to interview some great men in history. In his book, “The Law of Success”, he analyses all the attributes that make up human success or failure.
I am in no position to make a determination as to what is correct or wrong with what he wrote or what I have taken from his book. I can only quote him and several other well-known people and let you judge. My reasoning is that if you want to be successful in life, in school, and in business, you must have self-confidence in yourself.
“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” HENRY FORD
“You can do it if You believe you can!” “Self-confidence develops when it’s used and disappears when it is not.” ” No one is going to pay much attention to the person who has no confidence in himself.” “Where fear controls, significant achievement becomes an impossibility.” “Your only limitation, within reason, is one that you set up in your mind.” NAPOLEON HILL
“A man, as a general rule, owes very little to what he is born with. A man is what he makes of himself.” ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL
“Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees the others.” ARISTOTLE
I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. Self-confidence can be the foundation of success in network marketing.
