After standing in the queue for 45 minutes, it was my turn to vote. One of the helpers, who was from the Shiv Sena asked for my voting ID Card and voting slip. I said, “I had applied for my Election Card online. Pune Resettlement Office Should Be Thrown in Dam: Bombay HC
The Bombay High Court lost it on Monday when it slammed the Maharashtra government for inaction in resettling people who have been displaced by the Chaskaman dam in Pune. Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice Girish Kulkarni said that the resettlement officer should be thrown in the dam because of negligence of duty that has caused the ex-residents to be homeless and sleep on the streets.
