Baahubali 2 Not Releasing in April, Releasing On…

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 --which was expected to release on April 2017--has been delayed yet again because of VFX issues

Baahubali 2 has hit another snag, this time with VFX. This means another delay for the movie.

“Previously the release was planned for December 2016, then the dates were shifted to January. We thought that by April 2017 the film will hit the theatres. However, we doubt that this will happen,” reveals a source close to the film.

“The film has a lot of VFX work and post-production work pending due to which the date is being shifted. Baahubali is a huge film and requires a lot of work. The film will mostly release in May 2017. However, the dates are not finalised yet,” adds the source.

We tried contacting the Baahubali team about the same, but were met with:”No comments”.

On the eve of Maha Shivaratri the team tweeted their latest motion poster which has been trending ever since. The second installment is the most-awaited film of the year; the first part of this historic drama was a massive hit.

Baahubali-The Beginning was released in July 2015 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and made more than 200 crores worldwide just in the first five days. It is ranked as the biggest grossing film at the box office with 500 crores. Here’s the film’s motion poster:
