How to Make Sure You Will Go to Heaven When You Die

God wants us to be his children

It is a fact that we all will die some day. This thought can be disturbing to people who do not know where they are going after they die. Heaven is the place people hope they will go.

How can we be sure we are going to heaven when we die? We need to make our peace with God. How is that done? It is so simple that some people make it very difficult.

God wants us to be his children. He wants to help us through life, and when it comes our time to die, He wants us to live with Him in Heaven. God has a plan and it includes those who follow Him.

The Bible says in John 3:16; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. You see, Jesus is God’s son, and he came to earth to die on a cruel cross to save the souls of anyone who would ask forgiveness for their sins and accept him as Savior.

The simplicity is that we can not earn salvation, nor buy it. We simply have to ask for forgiveness to God and accept His Son Jesus into our hearts. He will save us and we will go to heaven. The Lord God says, “If you believe in your heart that you are made right with God by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” Also, God says in the Bible that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be Saved. ”

Why do we make this so difficult and think we have to do things to get to heaven? Human nature is why. It compels us that we have to earn. Salvation is a spiritual free gift from God, bought and paid for by Jesus dying on the cross, in place of us. He sacrificed his life so that anyone who asks God’s forgiveness and accepts Jesus, who rose from the dead and is alive spiritually today, will be saved and then go to Heaven.

I encourage you to do this and read the Bible in a simple translation so that you can personally understand all that God has for you. Including a perfect place called Heaven when you die.
