Manchester Derby Preview: Mera Manchester Ya Tera Manchester?

Who will claim the fourth spot on the points table in the Premier League?

The Manchester Derby has always been a battle to watch for in the Premier League. Today is going to be no different.

Manchester City

Manchester City holds the fourth position in the point’s table and will be hoping to win tonight and fix their place in the Champions League. City will be hoping to win the Derby and make it two wins this season.

The key players for City will be Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling to attack and score goals. Aguero is in good form and has carried City to the top. Sterling has also assisted a lot of balls in the center that kissed the back of the net.

City has a strong defence with skipper Vincent Kompany and his gang: Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta and Nicolas Otamendi. They are the City Wall and are more than a match for the set pieces by the Red Devils.

The midfield for City is in the hands (or legs) of David Silva and Yaya Toure. Silva and Toure have been creating beautiful chances for Sterling and Augero to score. If they do that this time around, they might win the Derby.

Manchester United

United aren’t having the best of times and the horrible injury to talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be a severe kick in the balls for them. Marcus Rasford can force his way in the playing 11 in the absence of King Zlatan.

Other big names for United that are missing the Derby are Paul Pogba, Jaun Mata, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo. The defense and midfield will be handled by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young and Ander Herrera.

Youngsters Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have great goal-scoring abilities. They will also get some support by Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to win this Derby.
