Pakistani Govt Takes a Potshot at the Indian Media

A children’s park in Lahore was attacked on Sunday by a suicide bomber. The devastating incident left around 72 dead. While the news was being reported by the Pakistani media, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has advised TV channels in that country to be “professional” and “responsible” and not to “jeopardise” the current National Action Plan by the nation. What looks like a more or less standard press release even takes a dig at the Indian media for some strange reason. They ask the media to be as professional as the international media’s coverage of the Brussels terror attacks and not “crass” and “commercial” like the Indian media. Screenshot_2016-03-29-00-58-45
