Pride March, Mumbai 2016: We’re Here, We’re Queer, Get Used to It!

Pride March 2016 organised by the ‘Queer Azaadi Mumbai’ community was an event open to all LGBT folk in the city. This march that took place on Feb 6 and started from August Kranti Maidan heading towards Nana Chowk, took taking the flyover to Grant Road East, then went right towards Lamington Road and Kennedy Bridge before ending at the same place from where it began. A hug of friendship can change your attitude towards them. All you got to do is spread both your hands wide and hug them tight.

He is proud of what he is. Doesn’t worry about the world or what it thinks about him.

They can be anyone, your friend, family member, your colleague, your neighbour. And you don’t need to be one of them to support and encourage them to come out and join the world.
