SRK Becomes ‘Fan’ Of Mumbai College Student, Offers Him Job

It’s not everyday someone gets the most amazing job opportunity; that too from the King Khan, Shahrukh Khan! Sounds impossible, doesn’t it? But it actually happened. Shivam Jemini, a 19-year-old hailing from Bhopal, a first year mass media student at Amity University, Mumbai, is one such guy who has achieved something most people can only dream of. A die-hard fan of SRK, he fell in love with the trailer of his upcoming movie, Fan. The video excited him so much that he wished that he would have been cast as Gaurav, the protagonist. What most would have shrugged off as a random fantasy, Shivam decided that he was going to try something new and do some VFX editing and turn his fantasy into reality, even if it was only virtual.

Three days of hard work of shooting, editing and compiling, all done single-handedly, turned out into a new trailer of Fan, with Shivam as the lead. A self-taught VFX editor, Shivam has made a lot of videos before, but this one by far is his greatest achievement.

When SRK himself retweeted his video and offered him a job at his studio, the nineteen year old was astounded. “I’m so happy and, I feel so blessed that Shahrukh Khan himself offered me a job,” when asked about his further plans, he answers, “I’ll try my best and I’ll prepare myself more before I’ll join.” Well, that’s dedication, people! And guess what? It all happened on his birthday! Certainly the best birthday gift one can wish for. We wish Shivam all the best for his future endeavours.
