No Free Parking in Mumbai From March

Now, you may have to start paying for parking your car out in the street at night. This is bad news for all housing societies built when Mumbai had space and no one really cared where you parked your vehicle. According to the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), if you have a car and no place to park in your building complex, you will have to shell out anywhere from Rs. 660/- to Rs. 1,980/- a month, depending on where you live. There are going to be some pissed off South Bombay (SoBo) residents!

End Caste System? Good Joke

Every political party has stated that ending casteism is one of its main priorities. How does one explain this! Rajvir Diler, a BJP candidate in Uttar Pradesh sits down on the floor of the homes of the upper-caste voters he canvasses and also carries his own glass with him. Why? So that he can be served tea. Shawna Pandya is NOT the Third Indian-Origin Woman to Go to Space (Yet)

Indians love boasting about the achievements of people who have some connection to India but this time things didn’t work out. She took to Facebook to clarify all the wrong-statements and there were more than a few!

I Know They Are Going to Die

Samaritans are a rare breed; which is why we should treasure people like Mohammed Bzeek. A Libyan-born Muslim who lives in Asuza, California, is a foster parent who only takes in terminally ill children. These are children no one else wants because no one wants to watch a child die. This also means that children are deprived of love when they need it the most. This is Bzeek’s story.

Massive day for Sports (read cricket) fans in India. We broke a bunch of records today!

Virat’s Better than Don Bradman

Virat Kohli just beat Sir Don Bradman! Kohli became the first batsman in the world to hit four double centuries in four consecutive Test series. India declared at 687/6 on day two of the one-off Test against Bangladesh. Wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha made an unbeaten 106 to add to Bangladesh’s woes. To cap off their misery, Bangladesh also lost a wicket in the closing stages of the day’s play. Oh, also, India became the only country in Test cricket to rack up thre consecutive scores of over 600.

Mahesh Murthy: Flipkart is a Bunch of Overpaid Underperforming Crybabies

Flipkart keeps asking the government for special protection.
