Eman Ahmed in Mumbai for Treatment

Eman Ahmed weighs 500 kg and has not moved out of her home in Egypt for 25 years. But she managed to make it to India at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 for weight reduction surgery. She will be kept under observation for a month before she’s operated upon in Saifee Hospital by Muffazal Lakdawala, and his team of doctors.

Delhi resident Ashok Kumar Jain can’t drive his Rolls Royce because it’s too old and doesn’t meet the National Green Tribunal’s order on restricting vehicles that are more than 15 years old. He says he is “willing to upgrade the car and make it compliant with the norms on emissions”.

Teen Girl Fights Child Marriage to Follow Dream of Playing Football

Harsha Raghatate, 19-year-old from Hinganghat in Wardha district, fought poverty, an alcoholic, abusive father and an attempt to get her married to a man twice her age when she was 16. She is now a goalkeeper for the Vidarbha women’s team at the National Inclusion Cup 2017— a competition for youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds.
