What Is A Woman’s Greatest Self Defense Tools

A women's zeal to succeed is her greatest self-defense tool

If you are a woman, then you know how dangerous the world can be. Women are often targeted by predators of all sorts because they are seen as weak and vulnerable. The reality, however, is far from the truth. There are no weak women, only un-trained women. In order to better protect oneself, it is important that a woman understands what her greatest self-defense weapons are. If you are a woman and tired of living in fear, then it is time for you to get in touch with those fears and be on your way to a more fulfilling life.

Element of Surprise

Society expects women to be victims. It is not fair that women are always portrayed as spineless weaklings in movies and TV, always on the run and never willing to stay and fight. While there have been some exceptions to the rule, women by and large are still looked up as the damsels in distress that need their big hunky Romeo Prince Charming to swoop in and save the day. Women can use this injustice to their advantage by playing it up in the mid of attack while planning the perfect place and the perfect moment to strike back. Taking your attacker off guard may be all that you need to do as a woman to escape to safety.

Knowledge of the Opponent

In any endeavor, the one who knows the weakness of her opponent and exploits it when possible is the one who wins. A woman knows the Achilles heel of her male counterpart, and it is not the actual Achilles heel. One of the most vulnerable portions of the male attacker is the groin. However, a woman can also do a lot of damage with a bridge hand-strike to the nose. Women may also wish to carry non-lethal weapons, such as stun guns or mace.

Tools of Self Defense

What are your self-defense tools as a woman? Do you carry pepper spray on your keychain? Do you have a high voltage stun gun in your possession or perhaps a nightstick? Whatever you carry, it should be menacing enough to keep the boys at bay and respond to the fear that you experience in the mid of attack. Other tools of the trade that you may have on hand: intimate knowledge of the martial arts, boxing skill, and strength.

Women today are smarter, stronger, and more independent than ever. Why not use some of that intelligence and muscle to better protect yourself. Once you refuse to be a victim, you never will be one again.
