Ultra-portable Laptops – In this category, the best brand right now is ASUS they make the most reliable and visually attractive ultra-portable laptops. When shopping for an ultra-portable battery life is your only real concern. A good battery life time to look for is 7+ hours.

Gaming Laptops – If you want a really great gaming machine to be ready to shell out some big dollars. The best of best can cost in the $4000 neighbourhood, but you get the latest Intel and Nvidia hardware and the fastest memory so it’s not like your getting ripped off.
